Do you know what Progressive web apps are?

Post by bitheerani93 »

In a relatively short space of time, a lot has changed in our daily lives thanks to advances in technology. Our routines are heavily influenced by apps, whether they are for daily tasks, leisure or simply for communication, they are there to meet your needs quickly and efficiently. Mobile has taken over our lives, but there are still some details that need to evolve, which is why progressive web apps are needed.

While applications work quickly, conveniently poland mobile database efficiently, some websites when accessed via a mobile device tend not to work in the same way, as many are true copies of their web versions and therefore work slowly, crash and are difficult to view.

As a result, websites end up losing popularity and strength to compete with classic applications, also called native applications, that is, those that we can purchase through an app store.

But the need for improvement in web applications has not gone unnoticed, as this has been worked on in recent years through major studies and research, which have led to a new concept that could change the way people access websites via mobile: Progressive web apps.

What are progressive web apps?

In order for native applications and web applications to have the same level of quality, websites need to adapt to the trends and features that are already used in traditional apps, which has become possible thanks to a series of tools and knowledge about both types of applications.

In this way, websites emerge that undergo transformations in their programming, design and functionality as the user interacts with them, progressively gaining characteristics of a native application. This concept is called progressive web apps, or in Portuguese, progressive applications for the web.

Interaction begins when the application still has all the characteristics similar to those of a common website and if the user interacts frequently (in the same way we use native applications), the functions undergo transformations progressively, making the visualization, handling, interactivity and other factors as similar as possible to native apps, which makes the user experience faster, more practical and efficient.

Over time, the user can even create a shortcut on their browser's home page to access the web application much faster than they would access a regular website.
